It was a wonderful day when one of our residents celebrated her birthday on the 27 March 2023. Our team at Thornfield Care Home presented her with a wonderful birthday cake in round shape. The room was decorated to celebrate a wonderful occasion. She thanked everybody at Thornfield Care Home for their great kindness keeping her in touch.
Our residents enjoyed a fun afternoon of pancake flipping. One of our got a surprise and couldn’t help but laugh. We talked about different toppings like golden syrup, lemon juice, sugar, and chocolate, and everyone had their own favourite.
One of our resident went on a trip to the Milford on Sea and enjoyed a lovely walk on the beach along with our companion. She also enjoyed the view of the sea and the gentle sea breeze on her face. After looking at the beach, it brought back memories from her past.
